As a passionate advocate and innovative connector, Chief Advancement Officer Paula McLaughlin leads HOPe’s efforts in areas of fundraising, marketing, and public relations. She began her career working at Boston College, where she gained expertise in alumni relations and donor engagement. Building on this foundation, Paula went on to create dynamic systems and processes for small entrepreneurial organizations, local and regional political campaigns, and forward-thinking educational initiatives where inclusion was the main focus. In her current role, Paula takes great pride in her ability to think strategically and cultivate strong relationships allowing the House of Possibilities to serve more members and their families in meaningful ways. Beyond her work at HOPe, Paula also holds leadership positions on several boards in the Greater Boston area further demonstrating her commitment to community and service.
“Every time I walk into the building, it is a member who greets me with a friendly hello, making me feel so welcome. They feel so at home at HOPe that they want to make sure others feel at home as well. That's what belonging can do.”
