Grants Officer Lisa Capone brings extensive expertise in nonprofit management, communications, and grant oversight to her role at HOPe. Known for her ability to effectively articulate organizational needs, Lisa leverages her background to attract vital support for HOPe’s mission. Her experience "wearing many hats" in the nonprofit sector equips her to assist in diverse areas of advancement, from strategic communications to hands-on grant research and proposal writing. With a talent for crafting compelling proposals, Lisa has been instrumental in securing funding for initiatives that benefit HOPe’s members and their families.
Lisa notes that one of the biggest challenges in the field is the rising demand for disability services and the increased competition for funding since the pandemic. She emphasizes the importance of innovation, adaptability, and advocacy to continue supporting individuals with disabilities.
