Abby Waldron

Community Resource Specialist

Community Resource Specialist Abby Waldron brings expertise in Community Building, Partnership Development, Volunteer Management, and Event Planning to her role at HOPe. Abby now applies these skills to create meaningful opportunities for HOPe members with community partners. She also initiated "Wellness Wednesdays," DEI projects, and various staff events at Matouk, which enriched her ability to foster a positive environment—a skill she now uses to oversee and support volunteers at HOPe. Additionally, Abby’s experience as a 1:1 camp counselor at The Bridge Center deepened her understanding of disabilities and honed her empathy, communication, and patience.

“Being part of the HOPe community feels like being part of a family. I’m most inspired by our members' perseverance; despite setbacks, they push forward each day and tackle new challenges and opportunities with a confident and strong outlook.”
